Dry Needling
Dry needling aims to address neuromuscular conditions, relieve pain, and improve range of motion. During your scheduled appointment, we will insert a small needle into specified areas of your body depending on your unique and individual needs.
Dry needling follows evidence based guidelines, recommended point locations, and dosages for treatment of specific conditions. Our goal is to improve pain control and reduce muscle tension through this technique.

Cold Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and help accelerate your healing process. Laser treatment can be used on people suffering from acute and chronic conditions in order to eliminate pain and swelling, increase functionality, and reduce spasms.

Physical Therapy
Physical therapy rehabilitation uses mechanical force and movement to improve mobility, function, and even quality of life through examination, diagnosis, prognosis, and physical intervention.
Our physical therapists are trained and licensed to examine, evaluate, diagnose, and treat impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities in patients.
There are many reasons patients come to us for physical therapy. One of the main reasons is because they have been hurt in an automobile accident and need additional attention in order to get their bodies back to feeling normal. Other people hurt their bodies in sports or work and need assistance to feel better again.
Our entire staff is dedicated to helping you feel better. Our compassionate and educated chiropractors will work with you every step of the way. Results of an injury can vary from person to person, so it is important to speak with our wonderful staff to see how we can help you. Our number one goal is to help you feel better.

Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally. Spinal decompression is an excellent option for anyone with chronic back pain who wants to get back to living a pain-free life as quickly as possible.

Red Light Therapy
Red light therapy (RLT), sometimes called cold laser therapy, is used to treat many cosmetic issues such as wrinkles, scars, and stretch marks. Additionally, it has applications such as treating psoriasis, slow-healing wounds, and the side effects of chemotherapy.
RLT is different from lasers or intense pulsated light (IPL) because it doesn’t cause damage to the skin. Light from red, low-level wavelengths emitted from light-emitting diodes (LEDs) work by creating a biochemical effect within cells, which strengthens the mitochondria. The mitochondria are where each cell generates its energy. Thus, by increasing the mitochondria’s strength, we can improve the overall energy output of each cell treated with RLT. This gently stimulates regeneration only a few millimeters below the skin’s surface.

Stretching
Do you experience tightened muscles, loss of range of motion, or pain in your neck, back, and legs? You aren’t alone. Did you know that more than 80% of adults experience some form of neck or back pain that regularly limits their performance in normal daily activities? As we age, our muscle tissue begins to shorten and tighten. This puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage. Therefore, maintaining muscle flexibility and range of motion in the joints is key to maintaining long, lean, and healthy muscle structure.
Here at Varai Chiropractic HERE we aim to educate our patients on the importance of stretching and how it can help improve your overall mobility, flexibility, balance and strength. A simple stretching routine assists in lengthening your muscles which makes the motions of daily tasks, like dressing or squatting to tie your shoes, much, much easier.

Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive procedure that uses high-energy sound waves to treat musculoskeletal conditions. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and shoulder tendinitis. The sound waves generated by the shockwave machine stimulate the body’s natural healing process, promoting tissue regeneration and reducing pain.
Shockwave therapy works by generating sound waves that are directed at the affected area of the body. The sound waves penetrate the skin and stimulate the underlying tissue, promoting blood flow and tissue regeneration. This increased blood flow helps to reduce pain and inflammation while promoting healing.

Neuromed
Neuromed is a non-invasive treatment that uses transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) to relieve chronic pain. It uses a specialized device that transmits low-frequency electrical impulses to the nerves that are responsible for transmitting pain signals. The electrical impulses stimulate the production of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers, which help to relieve pain and improve overall well-being.
Neuromed works by delivering low-frequency electrical impulses to the nerves that are responsible for transmitting pain signals. These impulses disrupt the transmission of pain signals to the brain, reducing the sensation of pain. Additionally, the electrical impulses stimulate the production of endorphins, which help to further alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
